Today, Powers Equipment Auctions is owned and operated by Dan and Sara Powers, combining generations of auction experience with a modern, hands-on approach to customer service, equipment marketing, and auction management.

Our Story
Dan Powers Jr. grew up in his family’s auction business and helped grow the company from a young age, gaining firsthand experience in the auction and equipment industries along the way. Being raised around auctions gave him a deep understanding of the importance of hard work, customer relationships, and representing sellers with honesty and professionalism.
After growing up in the industry, Dan spent more than five years working for a large AGCO agricultural equipment dealership spanning several states, managing used equipment across multiple locations while working directly with buyers, sellers, and wholesale markets.
That experience provided valuable insight into equipment values, market trends, buyer expectations, and where the auction process often falls short for both buyers and sellers.
Recognizing the need for a more personal, transparent, and customer-focused approach, Dan and Sara built Powers Equipment Auctions around the principles they believe still matter most — honesty, communication, hard work, and accountability.
Today, Powers Equipment Auctions combines traditional values with modern marketing strategies, online bidding technology, and nationwide buyer outreach to help customers achieve real results while still receiving the personal service they deserve.
